#### Pune to Mumbai cab fare: one-way and round-trip cab rates, all four cars

The Pune to Mumbai cab price one way starts at ₹2,700 in the Citroën ë-C3, our cheapest cab: a fixed taxi fare, tolls included, with no surge at any hour. The table below has one-way fares from any Pune address to any Mumbai address (150 km included; extra km charged extra) and same-day round-trip fares. This is the number you pay at the drop point.

- **Citroën EC3** · Electric hatchback · 4 seats · 315 L boot · 2 check-in + 2 cabin bags · ₹2,700 one way, all in 150 km included ₹5,000 same-day round trip, 350 km [Book this car](https://orbitmiles.in/book/)
- **MG ZS EV** · Premium electric SUV · 4 seats · 448 L boot · 2 check-in + 2 cabin bags · ₹3,200 one way, all in 150 km included ₹5,800 same-day round trip, 350 km [Book this car](https://orbitmiles.in/book/)
- **Kia Clavis EV** · Electric MPV · 6 seats · 216 L boot · 4 cabin bags with all 6 seats in use · 4 check-in + 4 cabin with the 3rd row folded · ₹3,800 one way, all in 150 km included ₹6,500 same-day round trip, 350 km [Book this car](https://orbitmiles.in/book/)
- **Toyota Innova Hycross** · Self-charging hybrid MPV · 6 seats · 300 L boot · 2 check-in + 2 cabin bags · 4 check-in + 4 cabin with the 3rd row folded · ₹6,000 one way, all in 150 km included ₹9,000 same-day round trip, 350 km [Book this car](https://orbitmiles.in/book/)

- An Orbitmiles Pune to Mumbai cab costs a fixed fare from ₹2,700 one way in the Citroën EC3, with 150 km included.
- The fare is all-in. The driver, the charging or fuel and the Expressway toll are included, there is no surge pricing, and there is nothing extra to confirm on a call.
- Orbitmiles' fixed ₹2,700 fare already includes the Mumbai–Pune Expressway toll: ₹320 one-way for a car, and ₹0 for our three electric cars, which are toll-exempt in Maharashtra. The hybrid Innova Hycross pays the toll, and that is inside its fare too.
- The first 30 minutes of waiting are free, counted from the scheduled pickup time.
- You pay after the ride, by UPI, card or cash. Nothing is charged in advance.
- Cancellation is free if you cancel more than 4 hours before pickup.
- A same-day round trip costs ₹5,000 in the Citroën EC3, with 350 km included for both legs.
- For heavy luggage, book a six-seater. The Kia Clavis EV takes 4 large check-in bags plus 4 cabin bags with 4 passengers and the 3rd row folded, or 4 cabin bags only with all 6 seats in use. The Toyota Innova Hycross takes 4 large check-in bags plus 4 cabin bags with 4 passengers and the 3rd row folded, or 2 large check-in bags plus 2 cabin bags with all 6 seats in use.

##### Included in every fare

Every Orbitmiles fare on this route is all-in, with the driver and the charging or fuel inside the number above.

- 150 KMs one way
- One pickup + one drop
- Driver charges
- Fuel charges
- Expressway toll included
- 15 min refreshment break if required
- First 30 minutes of waiting free

##### Not included in the fare

- Kilometres beyond 150 km, charged extra
- Extra pickup or drop stops, quoted when you book
- Waiting beyond the 30 free minutes, if you need it (we agree it with you on WhatsApp first)
- Airport parking, if any

Coming back the same day? The round-trip fare covers both legs and 350 km. See [round-trip cab fares](https://orbitmiles.in/pricing/round-trip/).

Nothing is added at the end of the ride without telling you first. Fares are the same at 6 AM, 6 PM and midnight — Orbitmiles does not run surge pricing.

₹2,700 all-in, tolls included — an app-based cab has to quote under ₹2,380 to actually beat it, because its ₹320 expressway toll is billed on top. Going the other way or starting at an airport? The Mumbai to Pune and Mumbai Airport to Pune pages carry the same fares with pickup details for that direction.

Luggage Space

#### Luggage space: which Pune to Mumbai cab fits your bags

Three of our four cabs are electric, and their battery sits under the floor, so the boot is free for bags. And on our two 6-seaters you choose what the third row does: carry two more passengers, or fold it down and carry the luggage instead.

CNG car boot space

The gas cylinder is mounted **in the boot floor**. It is a round steel tank that takes up most of the usable depth, so a full-size check-in bag often will not lie flat. Bags end up on laps or on the seat.

Electric cab boot space

The battery is a flat pack **under the cabin floor**. The boot is untouched — full depth, flat floor, square shape. You get the space the car was designed to have.

##### Citroën EC3

##### MG ZS EV

##### Kia Clavis EV

Orbitmiles verifies these bag counts in the real cars, not from boot litres. On the two 6-seaters the third row and a full check-in load use the same space, so **you cannot have both at once** — travelling six means cabin bags, and 4 large check-in bags means folding the third row. Tell us your passenger and bag count when you book and we will send the configuration that fits. The drive

#### Pune to Mumbai: distance, driving time, tolls and stops

**Distance**

~150 km

Orbitmiles covers the full ~150 km from your Pune address to south or central Mumbai via the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, door to door, inside the ₹2,700 fare.

**Typical drive**

2.5–3 hours

Orbitmiles plans 2.5 to 3 hours of driving, plus 30–45 minutes for a weekday evening arrival into Mumbai.

**Expressway toll**

₹320 one way

Two MSRDC plazas — Urse and Khalapur. Orbitmiles pays it either way: ₹0 in our electric cars, and inside the fare on the hybrid Hycross.

**Rest stops**

1 break included

Orbitmiles includes one break — Khalapur Food Court or the Lonavala exit, typically 15 minutes — rather than metering it.

An Orbitmiles Pune to Mumbai cab covers roughly **150 km** in **2.5 to 3 hours** on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, at a fixed **₹2,700** with the toll inside it. The car picks you up anywhere in Pune, joins the expressway near Ravet or Dehu Road, climbs past Talegaon and Lonavala, drops through the Bhor Ghat into Khopoli and runs on into Panvel and Mumbai. Nothing about that changes with the season, which is why we can quote a fixed fare rather than an estimate that moves while you read it.

##### What the toll actually costs

Orbitmiles pays the **₹320 expressway toll** and it is already inside the ₹2,700 fare — so an app-based cab has to quote under **₹2,380** to actually beat it, because with other operators the toll is added at the plaza on top of the quote.

A normal car crosses **two MSRDC toll plazas** in this direction — Urse on the Pune side and Khalapur on the Mumbai side — and pays about **₹320 one way**. Our electric cars are exempt from that under the Maharashtra EV policy, so they cross for **₹0**. The Innova Hycross is a self-charging hybrid, not an EV, so it does pay the toll. Either way you never hand money to a plaza or see a toll line on your bill: it is inside the fare. If you want to see the arithmetic for your own car, our [toll calculator](https://orbitmiles.in/toll-calculator/) lays it out, and the [EV toll exemption guide](https://orbitmiles.in/blogs/maharashtra-ev-toll-exemption/) explains the rule.

##### Where people usually stop

Orbitmiles includes one break in the Pune to Mumbai fare rather than metering it, and most trips take it:

- **Lonavala exit** — about 65 km in from Mumbai, the best-known stop on the road, and the one to pick if you want chikki, fudge or a proper sit-down meal.
- **Khalapur Food Court** — roughly 40 km from Mumbai, the largest complex on the expressway and the last major stop before the run into the city.
- **Mapro Garden near Lonavala** — worth the detour when you are not against the clock, and a reliable stop with children in the car.

Our [expressway rest stops guide](https://orbitmiles.in/blogs/mumbai-pune-expressway-rest-stops/) covers what is open at what hour, which matters more than it sounds for a 5 AM departure. If your timing is flexible, the [best time to travel](https://orbitmiles.in/blogs/mumbai-pune-expressway-best-time-to-travel/) guide shows which windows cost you the least time in traffic.

##### Departing from your part of Pune

We pick up from any Pune address, Shivajinagar, Kothrud and the old city included. Ten areas have their own page with local pickup notes and how long the run to the expressway entry really takes: [Hinjawadi to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/hinjawadi/), [Wakad to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/wakad/), [Baner to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/baner/), [Aundh to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/aundh/), [Pimpri-Chinchwad to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/pimpri-chinchwad/), [Swargate to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/swargate/), [Koregaon Park to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/koregaon-park/), [Kalyani Nagar to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/kalyani-nagar/), [Viman Nagar to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/viman-nagar/) and [Hadapsar to Mumbai cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai/hadapsar/). A Hinjawadi pickup on a Monday morning is a different trip from a Koregaon Park pickup on a Sunday night, and the departure time we suggest reflects that.

Drop points

#### Mumbai drop points for your Pune to Mumbai taxi

One drop at any Mumbai address is included in the ₹2,700 fare, whether it is a home, office, hotel, station or hospital. These are the drops people book most often, roughly in the order you reach them coming off the expressway:

- Navi Mumbai (Kharghar, Belapur, Nerul and Vashi), the first stretch after the expressway ends.
- Thane, where you turn north before the city traffic starts (see the [Pune to Thane cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-thane/) page).
- Powai, Andheri (see the [Pune to Andheri cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-andheri/) page) and the airport. For the airport, see [Pune to Mumbai Airport cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-mumbai-airport/) (CSMIA) or [Pune to Navi Mumbai Airport cab](https://orbitmiles.in/routes/pune-to-navi-mumbai-airport/).
- BKC, Bandra and Dadar: the business district and the central suburbs.
- Lower Parel and Mumbai Central, for offices and the railway terminus.
- South Mumbai (CST, Fort, Churchgate and Nariman Point) at the far end of the trip.

South Mumbai and Bandra take the longest on a weekday evening, which can add 30 to 45 minutes once you leave the expressway; Navi Mumbai and Thane are the quickest. The fare includes 150 km; if your exact pickup-to-drop distance runs past that, the extra kilometres are charged extra and we tell you at booking.

Innova & SUV

#### Innova & SUV cabs from Pune to Mumbai, with driver

Every booking is a cab with a driver. We do not rent cars for self-drive, and the driver, fuel or charging and the toll are all inside the fixed fare.

Our [Pune to Mumbai Innova cab](https://orbitmiles.in/fleet/innova-hycross/) is the **Toyota Innova Hycross** at ₹6,000 one way. It is our most premium car, with the most comfortable seating in the fleet: six seats, a self-charging hybrid engine, and the toll inside the fare. For an SUV cab with four seats, the **MG ZS EV** is ₹3,200.

There is no sedan in the fleet. The Citroën ë-C3 hatchback is our [cheapest cab, from ₹2,700](https://orbitmiles.in/fleet/citroen-ec3/), and takes 2 check-in and 2 cabin bags with 4 people.

Every car is private and every fare is fixed. See [the full Orbitmiles fleet](https://orbitmiles.in/fleet/), the [Innova Hycross cab](https://orbitmiles.in/fleet/innova-hycross/) page and its [review](https://orbitmiles.in/blogs/mumbai-to-pune-innova-hycross-cab/), or, if you are weighing a cab against the train, our [Pune to Mumbai cab vs train vs bus comparison](https://orbitmiles.in/pune-to-mumbai-cab-comparison/).

6 seats

#### 6 seater cab Pune to Mumbai

Two of our cars seat six. Both are private cabs with a driver at a fixed fare, toll included:

- [Kia Clavis EV](https://orbitmiles.in/fleet/kia-clavis-ev/), ₹3,800 one way: an electric 6-seater and our airport and luggage car. It takes 4 cabin bags only with 6 people, or 4 check-in and 4 cabin bags with 4 people and the third row folded.
- [Toyota Innova Hycross](https://orbitmiles.in/fleet/innova-hycross/), ₹6,000 one way: a hybrid 6-seater and our most premium car. It takes 2 check-in and 2 cabin bags with 6 people, or 4 check-in and 4 cabin bags with 4 people and the third row folded.

Our terms

#### What you are agreeing to when you book

No fine print on this page, and none in the booking either. These are the terms for every Pune to Mumbai trip we run.

- **Pay after the ride** · Orbitmiles takes no advance, keeps no card on file and places no pre-authorisation hold. You settle at the end of the trip by UPI, card or cash — whichever suits you.
- **Free cancellation up to 4 hours before pickup** · Cancel more than four hours before your pickup time and you pay nothing. Inside four hours a part charge may apply, because the car and driver are already blocked for you.
- **30 minutes of free waiting** · Orbitmiles gives you 30 minutes of free waiting from the booked pickup time. After that, a small waiting charge applies. Tell us on WhatsApp if you need longer and we will work it out before the clock matters.
- **Driver and car details on WhatsApp before pickup** · You get the driver name, phone number, vehicle model and registration number on WhatsApp ahead of the trip, so nobody unknown turns up at your door. By default the driver waits at the designated pickup area and you call him when you walk out — there is no meet-and-greet desk. If you would rather be met with a name board at arrivals, ask for it when you book and Orbitmiles arranges it.
- **Background-checked drivers and child seats on request** · Every Orbitmiles driver is background-checked and trained in defensive driving, and the cars go through regular safety audits. Child and infant seats (0–13 kg and 9–18 kg) are available on request — ask for one when you book.
- **GST invoice by email** · Ask at booking and a GST invoice reaches your inbox after the trip — the version your finance team will accept for reimbursement without follow-up questions.
- **Tolls included in the fare** · The ₹320 Expressway toll (Urse and Khalapur) is already inside the fare Orbitmiles quotes you. Our electric cars are exempt from the MSRDC toll and the hybrid Innova Hycross pays it — either way, you do not.
- **No surge, at any hour** · The fare you are quoted is the fare you pay. Rain, a long weekend, 2 AM, a festival exodus — the number on this page does not move.
