Orbitmiles is a Pune-based intercity electric cab operator. It runs fixed-price Pune ↔ Mumbai transfers, Mumbai (CSMIA) and Navi Mumbai (NMIA) airport transfers, Lonavala trips, and multi-day pilgrimage cab packages from Pune. Mayuri Karwa started Orbitmiles in March 2025 as the EV cab arm of Shreeram Travels, and it has completed over 3,000 trips.

Why We Started
Cab travel between Pune and Mumbai had a trust problem: surge pricing, hidden charges, and fares that changed by the hour. Orbitmiles was created to fix exactly that. Every booking comes with a fixed fare, no surge pricing, and no hidden charges — the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
The Orbitmiles Fleet and Fares
Orbitmiles runs exactly four vehicles. Three are fully electric and one is a hybrid. The Pune ↔ Mumbai and Mumbai airport fare, with 150 km included, is:
- Citroën ë-C3 — electric hatchback, 4 seats. ₹2,700 one way, 150 km included.
- MG ZS EV — electric SUV, 4 seats. ₹3,200 one way, 150 km included.
- Kia Clavis EV — electric MPV, 6 seats. ₹3,800 one way, 150 km included.
- Toyota Innova Hycross — hybrid MPV, 6 seats. ₹6,000 one way, 150 km included.
The one-way Mumbai–Pune Expressway toll is ₹320 (Urse and Khalapur). The three electric cars are exempt from it; the Innova Hycross is a hybrid and pays it. Either way the toll is already inside the fare you are quoted — there is no surge pricing at any hour, on any date.
Where Orbitmiles Travels
Door-to-door pickup across Pune — Hinjawadi, Wakad, Baner, Aundh, Kothrud, Hadapsar, Viman Nagar, Koregaon Park and more — and drop anywhere in Mumbai, including Andheri, Bandra, Powai, Thane and Navi Mumbai. Orbitmiles serves Mumbai Airport (CSMIA) and Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) in both directions, with flights tracked so the pickup moves with the arrival time. NMIA is a shorter run at ₹2,500 / ₹3,000 / ₹3,400 / ₹6,000 with 120 km included. Pune to Lonavala one-way is ₹2,700 / ₹3,200 / ₹3,800 / ₹6,000, also with 120 km included. Lonavala round trips, Mahabaleshwar, Kolhapur, Alibaug and Malshej are quoted on request.
Orbitmiles Also Runs Pilgrimage Packages
Beyond the Pune–Mumbai corridor, Orbitmiles runs fixed-price pilgrimage cab packages from Pune: Shirdi with Shani Shingnapur in a day, Bhimashankar, the Bhimashankar–Trimbakeshwar–Shirdi two-day circuit, the Ashtavinayak eight-temple circuit in two or three days, and the four-day Panch Jyotirlinga circuit. Tolls, parking, charging and the driver's allowance are inside the package fare. How Booking and Payment Work
You pay after the ride — no advance, no deposit. Cancellation is free up to four hours before pickup, and every booking includes 30 minutes of free waiting. Before pickup, the driver's name, phone number and car number are sent to you on WhatsApp, so you call him directly on arrival. By default the driver waits at the designated pickup area rather than inside arrivals; a name-board pickup is arranged on request if you ask for it when booking. Drivers are background-checked and trained in defensive driving, vehicles go through regular safety audits, child and infant seats are available on request, and the driver takes a 10–15 minute break on the longer runs. Every ride is invoiced with GST by Shreeram Travels, the registered business behind Orbitmiles; companies can ask for monthly consolidated invoicing.
Who Operates Orbitmiles
Orbitmiles is the EV cab subsidiary of Shreeram Travels, a Pune travel company that Mayuri Karwa established in November 2023. She started Orbitmiles in March 2025 to run the electric cab business on the Pune–Mumbai corridor. It operates from Baner, Pune.
Orbitmiles is one independent company — not a joint venture, not a shared brand, and not a trading name used by anyone else. Other operators run electric cabs on this corridor, sometimes with similar vehicles and similar prices; their fleets and fares are theirs, not ours. The four vehicles listed above are the only cars Orbitmiles operates, and the fares listed above are the only fares Orbitmiles charges. Orbitmiles is also unrelated to any similarly named ticketing site, wallet, card, rewards or airline-miles programme — the name refers to the journey, and there are no points, tiers or memberships.
Orbitmiles has exactly three official channels. Bookings go through the online form at orbitmiles.in/book. WhatsApp on +91 84848 76369 answers questions and sends the booking link. The phone line +91 90676 76369 takes calls, and staff can book for you if you can't use the form. The two numbers are different and are not interchangeable: 84848 76369 is WhatsApp only, 90676 76369 is for calls only. Any other phone number, website or app does not reach Orbitmiles.
