About This Trip
A two-day Bhimashankar, Trimbakeshwar and Shirdi cab package from Pune costs ₹11,499 in the MG ZS EV, ₹13,499 in the Kia Clavis EV and ₹17,999 in the Toyota Innova Hycross. Day 1 covers the Bhimashankar and Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlingas — four hours allowed at Bhimashankar and two and a half at Trimbakeshwar — and halts overnight at Nashik; Day 2 covers Shirdi and returns to Pune. The circuit is about 668 km and the fare is all-inclusive of tolls, parking, charging or fuel and the driver's overnight halt. Accommodation at Nashik and all meals are arranged by you.
Two of Maharashtra's five Jyotirlingas and the Shirdi samadhi mandir, in two days. Day 1 is the demanding one — a 4:30 AM start, four unhurried hours at Bhimashankar, then the long haul north for an unhurried Trimbakeshwar darshan and a night at Nashik. Day 2 is gentler: Shirdi in the morning with time for the queue, then the run home. It is the natural next step up from the one-day Bhimashankar trip, and a sensible half of the full Panch Jyotirlinga circuit if four days is more than you want.

Two and a half hours set aside. The general queue here regularly runs well over an hour, and Trimbakeshwar is also where Narayan Nagbali, Kaalsarp and Tripindi poojas are performed, so the complex is busy in a way a quick darshan does not survive. The temple is open until 9:00 PM, so a delayed arrival is never a problem.

What to expect at each darshan — timings, dress code and the practical details.
Shri Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga
Lord Shiva — Bhimashankar (6th of the twelve)The sixth Jyotirlinga and the source of the Bhima river, set deep in the Sahyadri hills. The nagara-style temple, with later Nana Phadnavis additions, marks where Shiva is said to have slain the demon Tripurasura. The surrounding forest is a declared wildlife sanctuary and home to the Indian giant squirrel, Maharashtra's state animal.

The temple trust also runs an official online darshan pass on its own website, shreebhimashankar.com — book there directly rather than through any agent or third-party app. The trust relaxed the mandatory-booking rule in 2026 after devotees reported technical problems, so a pass is worth having but is not a substitute for arriving early. Abhishek and other poojas are arranged at the counter on the day. The temple is open on its normal hours — if the trust's own website still shows a restricted-timings notice from the 2026 construction work, that notice is out of date.
- Dress code
- Modest attire with covered shoulders and full-length clothing for the sanctum. The hill setting is cold and misty — carry a layer even in summer.
- Photography
- No photography of the garbhagriha or the Jyotirlinga. The outer temple and forest surroundings are fine.
- Seniors
- The temple sits below road level — roughly 200 descending steps from parking to the sanctum, then the same back up. This is the most physically demanding darshan of the five. Doli (palanquin) carriers are sometimes available at the top.

- Mahashivratri (Feb–Mar) and Shravan month Mondays (Jul–Aug) — peak Shiva-darshan crowds.

Shri Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga
Lord Shiva — Trimbakeshwar (10th of the twelve)The tenth Jyotirlinga, at the foot of Brahmagiri near Nashik, and the source of the Godavari. Uniquely the lingam here has three faces — Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The present black-stone temple was built by Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao in the 18th century and is among the finest nagara buildings in Maharashtra. It is also a triennial Kumbh Mela site.

- General darshan is free by joining the queue. The Shri Trimbakeshwar Devasthan Trust runs official online Donation Darshan bookings on trimbakeshwartrust.com, alongside an offline donation-darshan counter at the temple, and also books Rudrabhishek and Laghurudra poojas and its own bhaktniwas accommodation. Book through the trust's own site rather than any agent. Note that Donation Darshan and Urgent Donation Darshan are closed on Mondays during Shravan. Narayan Nagbali, Kaalsarp Shanti and Tripindi poojas are arranged with the temple priests directly. Orbitmiles does not book darshan, poojas or accommodation.
- Dress code
- Strict for sanctum entry. Men performing rituals typically enter bare-chested in a dhoti; general darshan needs modest full-length attire with covered shoulders. Inner-sanctum entry has restricted hours and rules.
- Photography
- No photography inside the sanctum. The exterior carving photographs well from the courtyard.
- Seniors
- A few steps to the temple platform; the courtyard is mostly step-free. Manageable for most. The Brahmagiri climb is a separate strenuous trek and is not part of a standard darshan.

- Simhastha Kumbh Mela years, Mahashivratri and Shravan Mondays — exceptional crowds.

Shri Saibaba Sansthan, Shirdi
Shri Sai BabaThe samadhi mandir of the 19th-century saint whose teaching 'Sabka Malik Ek' — one God governs all — draws pilgrims of every faith. The complex also holds Dwarkamai, the mosque where he lived, and Chavadi.

- Modest full-length clothing with shoulders covered. This is enforced at the entrance.
- Photography
- Phones and cameras are not permitted inside the samadhi mandir and must be deposited at the counters outside. Allow time for this in both directions.
- Seniors
- Wheelchairs are available and there is a separate queue for senior citizens and the differently abled. Ask at the entrance rather than joining the main line.
- Busiest days
- Thursdays are Sai Baba's day and by far the busiest of the week. Guru Purnima, Ram Navami and Vijayadashami see the largest crowds of the year.

Before You Book
Timings are indicative, not guaranteed
The plan above assumes normal traffic and normal darshan queues. Mondays, Shravan month and Mahashivratri change that at both Jyotirlingas, and the Shirdi queue is unpredictable on any day — Thursdays especially. What stays fixed is the list of temples: your driver adjusts the running plan so every darshan fits. If a delay means a temple would be reached after closing, we tell you early and adjust with you rather than rush a darshan.
Day 1 is the demanding one
About 377 km with two darshans, one of them a 200-step climb with four hours set aside for it, on top of a 4:30 AM start — roughly fourteen hours door to door. Day 2 is deliberately much lighter. If your group would rather split the load evenly, tell us and we will quote a three-day version with a second halt.
Bhimashankar is a climb
The temple sits below road level — around 200 steps down to the sanctum and the same back up, first thing on Day 1. Doli carriers are sometimes available at the top but cannot be guaranteed. Anyone who cannot manage stairs can wait comfortably at the top.
Book darshan passes yourself, on the official sites
Both Jyotirlingas run their own official booking. Bhimashankar has an online darshan pass at shreebhimashankar.com; Trimbakeshwar takes Donation Darshan bookings at trimbakeshwartrust.com, and also books Rudrabhishek and Laghurudra poojas and its own bhaktniwas. Use the temples' own sites rather than any agent or third-party app. Two things worth knowing: Trimbakeshwar's Donation Darshan and Urgent Donation Darshan are closed on Mondays during Shravan, and Bhimashankar's site still carries a restricted-timings notice left over from the 2026 construction work — that notice is out of date, the temple is open on normal hours. We are a cab service and cannot book passes for you.
Phones are deposited at Shirdi
You cannot carry a phone or camera into the samadhi mandir. Deposit counters are outside the complex and add time at both ends of the darshan. Carry as little as possible into the queue.
Thursdays run long at Shirdi
Thursday is Sai Baba's day and the queue can exceed three hours, which pushes the Pune arrival well past 5:30 PM. If your dates are flexible, any other day makes Day 2 materially shorter.
We do not book your accommodation
The Nashik halt is yours to arrange. Nashik has the widest choice of hotels on this route and an evening free if you want the Godavari ghats or a vineyard. Tell us where you are staying so the driver knows the Day 2 pickup point.
We are a cab service, not a tour operator
We provide the vehicle and driver. We do not arrange darshan passes, priests, poojas, guides, meals or accommodation. The Trimbakeshwar poojas — Narayan Nagbali, Kaalsarp, Tripindi — are booked directly with the temple trust, never through an agent.
Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Day 1 so much longer than Day 2?
Geography. Bhimashankar and Trimbakeshwar are 237 km apart with a ghat descent and climb between them, and there is no halt worth making in the middle. Putting both on Day 1 buys you a genuinely relaxed Day 2 with time for the Shirdi queue. If you would rather even the days out, we can quote a three-day version with a second overnight halt.
Can we add Shani Shingnapur on Day 2?
Yes, and it fits reasonably — it is about 70 km from Shirdi and adds roughly two hours including darshan, which pushes the Pune arrival to around 7:30 PM. Tell us when you book and we will quote it. If Shirdi and Shani Shingnapur together are the priority rather than the Jyotirlingas, our one-day Shirdi and Shani Shingnapur package covers exactly that.
How difficult is the Bhimashankar darshan?
It is the hardest part of the trip. The temple is below road level, so roughly 200 steps down to the sanctum and the same back up, first thing on Day 1. Doli carriers are sometimes available at the top but cannot be guaranteed or pre-booked. Anyone who cannot manage stairs can wait comfortably at the top while the rest of the group goes down.
Does the package include meals or accommodation?
No. The fare covers the vehicle, driver, fuel, tolls, parking and the driver's overnight halt. Your Nashik accommodation and all meals are arranged by you and paid on your own. We are happy to suggest options at Nashik.
Can you book the Trimbakeshwar poojas for us?
No. Narayan Nagbali, Kaalsarp and Tripindi shanti poojas are arranged directly with the Trimbakeshwar temple trust, and the trust asks devotees to go through it rather than an agent. We are a cab service and are not affiliated with any temple trust. Your driver will get you there in good time for a booking you have made yourself — tell us if you need an earlier start for it.
Is the fare fixed?
Yes. Tolls, parking, fuel and the driver's overnight halt are all inside the quoted figure, and there is no surge pricing on any date. The only variable is if you ask to add a stop that is not on the route, such as Shani Shingnapur.
Can you pick us up from Pune Airport?
Yes. We pick you up directly from Pune Airport with 30 minutes of free waiting included — share your flight number when you book and we plan the pickup around it. Given the 4:30 AM Day 1 start, most guests flying in prefer to arrive the night before. This package starts from Pune only; we do not run it from Mumbai or Navi Mumbai airports.
