Kia Clavis EV luggage: how many bags fit?
| Passengers | Check-in bags | Cabin bags | Layout |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 | 0 | 4 | All seats in use — cabin bags only |
| 4 | 4 | 4 | 3rd row folded — maximum luggage |
A check-in bag here means a standard 23 kg airline case, and a cabin bag a 7 kg carry-on. The third row and the big suitcases share the same space. With 4 passengers and that row folded, the Clavis takes 4 check-in bags plus 4 cabin bags, more than any other car in our fleet. With all 6 seats in use it takes 4 cabin bags only. If six of you are flying with check-in bags, book two cars, or tell us what you are carrying and we will suggest a pair.
6 seater cab from Pune to Mumbai, and the 7 seater question
The Clavis is our electric 6 seater cab for Pune to Mumbai: six passenger seats plus the driver. People often search for an electric 7 seater taxi, but we do not run one, and we would rather say so than squeeze in a seventh person. For 7 or more, book two cars. A Clavis EV and a Citroën EC3 together cost ₹6,500 one way, and each car has its own fixed fare.
An electric MPV cab: range, toll and fare
The Clavis is fully electric. On a full charge we count on 325+ km, and a one-way Pune to Mumbai trip is about 150 km, so the car does not stop to charge on the way. Electric cars are exempt from the ₹320 Expressway toll, so you pay ₹0 toll. The ₹3,800 fare is fixed when you book and does not rise at night, on weekends or when demand is high.
More on how the exemption works is in our Maharashtra EV toll exemption guide, and on riding electric on the Expressway in why ride electric.
Our airport car: Mumbai T2 and Navi Mumbai Airport
Most of the Clavis's trips are airport runs, and the luggage space is why. It runs at the same fixed fares: ₹3,800 between Pune and Mumbai Airport (CSMIA) Terminal 2, and ₹3,400 to or from Navi Mumbai Airport. For arrivals we track your flight and adjust the pickup for delays. You get 30 minutes of free waiting, counted from the scheduled pickup time, and that time moves with your flight if it is delayed. The driver waits at the airport's designated pickup area, his details reach you on WhatsApp, and you call him when you are outside.
