Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking a ride with Orbitmiles. By using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Introduction

Welcome to Orbitmiles. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Orbitmiles’ electric cab booking services, including any bookings made through our website at orbitmiles.in (the “Platform”).

Orbitmiles is a premium electric cab service operating exclusively on the Pune–Mumbai corridor, including airport transfers to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Terminals 1 & 2). All bookings are accepted through our website only — we do not operate a mobile application.

By making a booking or using our services in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.

2. Definitions

  • “Company” / “We” / “Us” refers to Orbitmiles, located at 3, Ayurveda, Samar Pradise, D. P. Road, Aundh, Pune – 411007.
  • “User” / “You” / “Passenger” refers to any individual who makes a booking or travels in an Orbitmiles vehicle.
  • “Service” refers to all electric cab transportation, airport transfer, and related offerings provided by Orbitmiles.
  • “Ride” refers to a confirmed cab journey booked through the Platform.
  • “Driver” refers to a trained and verified driver employed or engaged by Orbitmiles.
  • “Platform” refers to the Orbitmiles website and any related online touchpoints.

3. Booking & Reservations

All bookings must be made through the Orbitmiles website. We do not accept bookings via third-party platforms or mobile applications. You may also reach us via the contact details provided on our website to confirm reservations.

  • A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of a written confirmation from Orbitmiles via WhatsApp or email.
  • You must provide accurate pickup location, drop location, date, time, and a valid mobile number at the time of booking.
  • Orbitmiles reserves the right to refuse or cancel a booking at its sole discretion, including in cases of suspected misuse, incorrect information, or unavailability.
  • Advance booking is recommended, especially for early-morning trips (2 AM–5 AM) and airport transfers.
  • The passenger is responsible for being ready at the confirmed pickup point at the scheduled time. Drivers will wait up to 15 minutes beyond the scheduled pickup time before the ride is treated as a no-show.

4. Pricing & Payment

Orbitmiles operates on a fixed-fare model. Fares are determined at the time of booking and are not subject to surge pricing, peak-hour charges, or weather-related increases.

  • The base fare of ₹2,700 covers up to 150 km of travel, driver charges, fuel, and expressway toll. One pickup and one drop are included.
  • Any travel beyond 150 km will be charged at a per-kilometre rate communicated at the time of booking.
  • Early-morning trips (from 2 AM / 4 AM) do not attract additional waiting charges.
  • Payment can be made via UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), credit/debit card, or cash — before or after the ride, as agreed at the time of booking.
  • Fares are inclusive of applicable GST. Our GSTN is 27AEAPL0271ZK.
  • Orbitmiles reserves the right to revise fares with advance notice on the Platform.

5. Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation

Cancel at least 4 hours before the scheduled pickup at no charge.

Late Cancellation

Cancellations within 4 hours of pickup may incur a cancellation fee up to 25% of the fare.

No-Show

If the passenger is not at the pickup point within 15 minutes, the full fare may be charged.

Orbitmiles does not cancel confirmed bookings except in cases of force majeure (extreme weather, government orders, vehicle breakdown, etc.). In such cases, no cancellation fee will apply to the passenger.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

By using our service, you agree to the following conduct standards:

  • Wearing seat belts at all times during the journey is mandatory.
  • Smoking, vaping, or consumption of alcohol inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited.
  • Passengers must not engage in any behaviour that distracts, threatens, or endangers the driver or other occupants.
  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by a passenger will be charged to the passenger at the actual cost of repair.
  • You are responsible for all personal belongings. Orbitmiles will make reasonable efforts to return found items but is not liable for any lost or stolen property.
  • The number of passengers must not exceed the vehicle’s seating capacity.
  • Transporting hazardous, illegal, or banned substances is strictly prohibited.
  • Passengers are expected to be courteous and respectful to drivers and staff at all times.

7. Our Obligations

Orbitmiles commits to:

  • Providing a clean, well-maintained, and fully electric vehicle for every ride.
  • Assigning a trained, verified, and courteous driver for each booking.
  • Offering meet & greet service at airports with a name board and luggage assistance.
  • Monitoring flight arrivals and adjusting pickup times accordingly for airport transfers.
  • Maintaining a 24/7 service with no waiting charges for early-morning bookings.
  • Honouring the fixed fare agreed at the time of booking.
  • Providing real-time driver and vehicle details upon booking confirmation.

8. Limitation of Liability

While Orbitmiles takes every reasonable precaution to ensure a safe and timely journey, the following limitations apply:

  • Orbitmiles is not liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, road closures, accidents, adverse weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
  • Our maximum liability to any passenger for any claim arising from a ride shall not exceed the total fare paid for that ride.
  • Orbitmiles is not responsible for missed flights, meetings, or any consequential losses arising from a delayed or cancelled ride.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for important journeys.
  • Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Orbitmiles Platform — including but not limited to logos, brand names, text, graphics, images, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Orbitmiles and is protected under applicable Indian laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use any such content without prior written permission from Orbitmiles.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms or our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra.

11. Changes to Terms

Orbitmiles reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
